Eclipse is a 550 m² esports and gaming venue located in the Avenue shopping centre on Vernadsky Prospekt in Moscow. The interior was designed to create an immersive and recognisable environment for competitive gaming, social interaction and live esports events.
Yuliya Forrest Interior Design was appointed when construction work had already begun, making speed one of the key challenges of the project. The main interior design concept was developed within just one week, combining cost-effective solutions with a strong visual identity.
The layout was planned to accommodate different gaming zones while maintaining clear and comfortable circulation throughout the venue. Architectural lighting, bold colour contrasts and illuminated graphic elements were used to create a futuristic atmosphere without relying on expensive decorative finishes.
Particular attention was given to the experience of the players, the visibility of the gaming areas and the overall impact of the space within a busy shopping centre. Following the initial design stage, the studio provided remote design supervision and supported the selection of finishes, lighting and key interior elements throughout the implementation process.
Results
The completed esports and gaming venue created a distinctive and immersive environment that immediately connected with its audience. Despite the limited timeframe and controlled budget, the interior achieved a strong branded identity and transformed the commercial unit into a memorable gaming destination.
The success of the project led to further discussions with the client about developing another Eclipse gaming venue in Moscow, demonstrating the commercial potential and scalability of the original concept.
